The cover concept was to capture the real meaning of a
"shack-shaker" in progress back in the '50s.
On March 28th, 2000 in Lubbock we rounded up some friends &
got together shortly before sundown.
The owner of the house left us in charge while he went to a
baseball game, how trusting...
we'd never met him until a few days before - it just caught our
eye as being a "50s style house".
The neighbours were fairly confused, they thought a real party
was going down.

Photographers Jim & John Childress (Childress Photography) of
Lubbock did
the shoot. They had 30 minutes at sundown to work with for best
lighting results.

It took 10 minutes to get proper lighting,
another 10 was delayed due to traffic...
we thought it would be a quiet street!

Getting in position - these guys & gals were naturals...

This is the final shot, uncropped & untouched.
Compare with the CD cover (digitally fixed up by Shawn)
Rock & Roll cats and hip kittens pulling up in their hot rods
to dance the night away and "shake the shack"!
